The undersigned were appointed Co-Executors of the estate of the above-named decedent on February 24, 2023.
All persons having claims against the estate must exhibit them, duly verified, to the undersigned within three months from the date of the first publication of this notice, or they shall be forever barred and precluded from any benefit in the estate. Provided that claims for injury or death caused by the negligence of the decedent shall be filed within six months from the date of the first publication of the notice, or they shall be forever barred and precluded from any benefit in such estate.

Ordinance Permitting An
Alderman To Have An Interest
In A Contract With The City
Whereas the City of Hamburg has need to purchase certain supplies from Yours and Vine, a business in Hamburg owned by Derenda Stanley; and
Whereas Derenda Stanley, who is the owner of Yours and Vine, has been elected to the City Council; and
Whereas Ark. Code Ann. § 14-42-112 (b) provides that no alderman or council member shall be interested, directly or indirectly, in the profits of any contract for the furnishing of supplies, equipment or services unless the governing body of the city has enacted an ordinance specifically permitting aldermen or council members to conduct business with the city; and
Whereas it is beneficial for the City of Hamburg to make purchases of supplies, equipment and services from Yours and Vine,
Be It Therefore Ordained that Derenda Stanley and Yours and Vine shall be permitted to sell supplies, equipment and services to the City of
Hamburg in an amount up to $1,000.00 per month, with any unused monthly allocation to carry over to the following month, but in no event to exceed $12,000.00 in a calendar year without approval by the City Council.
Adopted and approved according to law on this September 27, 2021.
