Notice To Establish A Branch

In the matter of the establishment of a branch of Commercial Capital Bank.  Notice is hereby given that the Commercial Capital Bank, whose main office and domicile is located in Delhi, Richland Parish, Louisiana, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Louisiana Commissioner of Financial Institutions to establish a branch to be located at 104 East Parker Street, Hamburg, Arkansas 71646.

Invitation To Bidders

Notice is hereby given by Fleschman’s Bayou Watershed Improvement District of Ashley County, Arkansas, that it will receive bids for cleaning, dredging, ditching, removal of trees and vegetation on site, and spreading of spoil as necessary for maintenance purposes, for that portion of the drainage system as reflected by the attached map, in areas in Township 17, 18, and 19 South, Range 4 West, described as follows:

(a) Main Ditch No. 1- Parts of Lateral 1-C;

(b) Main Ditch No. 1- From Lateral 1-C to Lateral 1-A.

Bids for the required work shall be submitted on an hourly basis for dragline or track hoe of not less than 1.5 yard bucket capacity, with operator, and with such support equipment as required by bidder to enable him to comply with job specifications.

Work will begin at the South end of the drainage system and working upstream or to point of origin or completion. Awards may be made to one or more bidders and for such portion of the above maintenance as permitted by available funds and all contracts will terminate upon utilization of all currently available maintenance funds.

All bidders will be required to provide with their bid evidence of general liability insurance of not less than $1,000,000 coverage and will provide in addition, either evidence of Workers Compensation coverage or a certificate citing statutory authority to the effect that the bidder is not required to maintain such coverage.

Additional information as to specifications, performance time, etc. may be obtained from Bryan A. Hollis, Natural Resources Conservation Service, USDA, Monticello, Arkansas.

Bids shall be submitted in writing to Paul Cochran, Contracting Officer, PO Box 98, Portland, Arkansas 71663, Telephone number (870) 866-4817, on or before twelve noon on Friday, March 19, 2021.

The District reserves the right to make awards of contracts to one or more successful bidders and to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities in any bid.
