Terry Lane Martin, 60, of Crossett, died in Little Rock Thursday, May 11, 2023. The lifelong resident of Ashley County was born April 29, 1963, was a 1982 graduate of Crossett High School, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
For 25 years, he and his wife owned and operated Master Technicians & Mechanicals, LLC. He was a master plumber and electrician, heavy equipment operator, and licensed state contractor, and held numerous other certifications.
He started Tall Timbers Hunting Camp.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl “Sonny” Martin.
He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Valerie Williams Martin of Crossett; his mother, Mary Charlene Martin of Crossett; two brothers, Keith Martin (Sherri) of Crossett and Jamie Martin (Monica) of West Fork; one sister, Kayla Sims-Salinas of Crossett; his in-laws, Jimmy and Joyce DuBose of Crossett; one sister-in-law, Elaina Minor (Kiim) also of Crossett; and one brother-in-law, Schon Turner of Beekman, La.
A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 15 at First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kenneth Neal officiating. Burial followed in Martin Cemetery (Tall Timbers Hunting Club) in Strong under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were the Master Tech crew, Dan Ridener, Floyd Herron, Hank Rice, Wayne Herron, Mike McKnight, Chris Jordan, Ross Sinks, Chris Robinson, John Jones, Justin Smith, Jimmy Nutter, Nick Hayes, Rich Bezick, Miki Goodwin, Tommie Ann Moffatt, Kerri Shelton, and Amber White. Honorary pallbearers were James Ricks, Gary Booker, and Mark Lockling.
