Frank Jerry Terrell, age 76, died at the veterans hospital in Little Rock on Dec. 7, 2020.

He was born Jan. 17, 1944 in Vernon, Ala., and attended Crossett High School where he played football. He then served in the United States Army with the 34th Signal Battalion in Ludwigsburg, Germany.

For over 30 years, he owned and operated Jerry’s Carpets and Jerry’s Feed and Tack. He was a member of Pine Street Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club, served on the board of North Crossett Utilities, and was a president and member of Wrangler Riding Club. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Terrell and Billie (Rushing) Terrell, and two brothers, Jimmie Terrell and John Terrell.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith; one daughter, Tina Shepard (Joe); one sister, Debbie Forrest (Keith); three brothers, Jackie Terrell (Lynn), Joey Terrell (Cathy), and Dennis Terrell (Jeannie); two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

A private celebration of life graveside ceremony will be held in Crossroads Cemetery.
