Donna Gayle Collier, 59, of Hamburg, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2022. She was born in Monticello on Christmas Day in 1962, was a lifelong resident of Ashley County, and was a member of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church.
For several years she served on the Ashley County Fair Board and worked as the sheriff of the First United Methodist Church voting center in Hamburg.
She worked for 15 years as a secondary photographer and assistant at Delores Photography.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Eugene Kelley.
She leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Tim Collier Sr.; and four children, Angela Davis (Casey) of Crossett, Tim Collier, Jr. (Samantha) of Monticello, Heather Collier of Crossett, and Brianna Mills (Kyle) of El Dorado; her mother, Virginia Kelley of Hamburg; three sisters, Diane Kelley of Crossett, Darlene Williams of Hamburg, and Denise White (Kenneth) of Shreveport, La.; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating.
Pallbearers were Kenneth White, Jim Hudson, Johnie Stewart, Mitch Taylor, Joe Chaney, and Arron Jennings.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Mathews, Kyle Mills, Johnny Huffstetler, and the members of Hamburg Prairie Lodge #465.
Services were entrusted to Medders Funeral Home of Crossett.
