The sixth University of Arkansas at Monticello Kids’ University will be held July 12-15. The summer enrichment program carries out a mission of serving capable and motivated students who are entering first through sixth grades in the fall. The day camp aims to cultivate new interests, expand knowledge, and spark imagination and creativity in a non-graded environment for children.

The morning session is for students entering first through third grades and will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. The afternoon session is for students entering fourth through sixth grades and will be held from 1 to 5 p.m.

An early drop-off option is available for both sessions.

A new option is available this year: participants can choose to attend one, two, three, or all four days of Kids’ University.

Monday will be a STEM Camp packed with STEM activities, experiments and crafts. Tuesday is Adventure Camp where kids will learn about exploring the world around with scavenger hunts, mapping, using a compass, and hands-on skills. On Wednesday Med Camp will include an interactive “walk-through” of the body, Project Lifesaver, healthy treats, and tons of activities to encourage healthy lifestyles. Thursday will be Game Day which has traditional team and individual sport activities but also backyard games that most everyone loves!

Fees will cover a t-shirt and all supplies. Early registration is $25 per single day or $80 for all four days. Sign up and payment must be complete before May 31 for this option.

After May 31, registration fees

will be $30 per single-day or $100 for all four days.
