Kara Felkins had been planning the lemonade stand for two weeks. The night before she was going to open, the sky darkened with rainclouds. 

Felkins did not let the mention of rain derail her plans. She got online and spread the word on social media that she would be moving her operation further down her driveway, into her carport. 

She knew that if people drove by and saw she was not set up next to the road, they might think she was closed and she would miss the opportunity to make a sale.
