Hamburg Fire & Rescue recently received a donation of canned emergency drinking water from Anheuser-Busch to help provide hydration to its responders during this year’s wildfire season.

On July 20 HEPCO - El Dorado, a local Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partner, delivered a pallet of 4500 cans of drinking water to the department to help support its wildfire response needs. Maintaining firefighters’ hydration during long incidents or disasters such as wildfires is a major safety concern for many departments.

Hamburg Fire & Rescue response area is 160 square miles in Central Ashley County.
