Crossett High School Principal Stephanie Brooks outlined the goals for the new school year and explained their importance in regards to the benefits they would have on the students’ learning environment.

Brooks said the teachers were spending their first week back on campus, engaging in professional development and collaborating in “creating meaningful and engaging lessons.”

Building relationships between the staff and the students remains an important part of the teaching process, as does encouraging those specific behaviors and skills that—along with academic success—will provide each student with a wider variety of opportunities upon graduation.
