Members of Hamburg High School’s Class of 2021 enjoy the fruits of their perseverance and dream of the opportunities now heading their way, as referenced by speakers Lexie Freeman and Annah Edwards at Friday evening’s commencement ceremony. The home-side stands were filled with family and friends and spectators spilled into remaining seats as the threat of COVID-19 dwindled and life began to resemble pre-pandemic ways. This allowed graduates the freedom to celebrate outdoors without the need for masks. This year’s honor graduates included Freeman, Edwards, Gabriela Mondragon, Allison Martin, Natalie Franco, Caitlyn Breedlove, Kansas Cooley, Kendall Herring, John Maxwell, Alexandra Towery, Percy Pennington, Michel Cuellar, and William Barnes.
