The Hamburg Lions fell to the Star City Bulldogs Friday night at home.

The Lions lost 80-56 to the Bulldogs. Khalil Williams led the Lions in scoring with a total of 20 points. Nick Bridges, James Jones, and Trey Brown each scored seven points, and Ahian Jackson scored 5.

The Lions are now 5-13 overall and 00-7 in conference play.

The Lady Lions fell 60-17 to the Bulldogs. They are now 2-16 overall and 1-6 in conference play. Their only conference win has been their road win against the Monticello Lady Billies late last month.

The Lions and Lady Lions only have five regular season games left to play. The Lions were scheduled to travel to Warren on Tuesday night; they will host Monticello on Feb. 11 before traveling to Crossett on Feb. 14. The Monticello game will also be the night that this year’s seniors are honored. 

The Lions will travel to Camden on Feb. 18 and to Camden Fairview on Feb. 21 for the last game of the season. The regional basketball tournament will be in Crossett at the Crossett Arena on Feb. 15.
