The United States Marshal does not warrant title, boundary lines, taxes and/or improvements of any on this property in Ashley County, Arkansas, including but not limited to the fact that the purchaser will be responsible for payment of taxes which are due and payable. The United States Marshal will accept the highest and best bid offered for cash or on a credit of ninety (90) days. In the event of credit, the purchaser at said sale will be required to give bond with the approved security to secure payment of the purchase price, and a lien shall be retained on the property to secure payment thereof, which shall bear interest at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of sale until paid. Title will be retained until the full purchase price is paid.

Sealed proposals will be received on Multiple Trade Contracts for BID PACKAGES for the new TICKET BOOTH as noted below. The Owner will receive sealed proposals at the Administration Conference Room, 219 Main Street, Crossett, Arkansas 71635 on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm local time. After the time to receive bids is past, they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the stated time and opening date will be returned unopened.

No formal pre-bid conference will be held. Trade contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers are encouraged to visit the site and become familiar with the existing conditions. Contact the Construction Manager, Ideal Construction, 870/364-4185 for access.

Bid proposals that exceed $50,000 must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond or cashiers check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to Crossett Public Schools.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond using AIA Document A312.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids.

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of the bids, without written consent of the Owner.

Notice Of Annual School

Election In Hamburg School

District No. 51

Of Ashley County,

Arkansas

In accordance with the requirements of Ark. Code Ann. §6-14-109, notice is hereby given that the annual school election in the above named school district will be held on May 21, 2019, for the following purposes:

The total rate proposed includes the uniform rate of tax to be collected on all taxable property in the state and remitted to the State Treasurer pursuant to Amendment No. 74 to the Arkansas Constitution to be used solely for maintenance and operation of schools in the State.  The total proposed school tax levy of 39.5 mills includes 25.0 mills specifically voted for general maintenance and operation, 10.50 mills voted for debt service previously voted as a continuing levy pledged to the retirement of existing bonded indebtedness, and 4.00 new debt service mills.  The new 4.00 debt service mills plus the 10.50 debt service mills, now pledged for the retirement of existing bonded indebtedness, which debt service mills will continue after retirement of bonds to which now pledged, will be a continuing debt service tax until the retirement of proposed bonds to be issued in the principal amount of $7,800,000, and which will mature over a period of 32 years and will be issued for the purposes of erecting and equipping new school facilities and making additions and improvements to existing school facilities.  The surplus revenues produced each year by debt service millage may be used by the District for other school purposes.

The total proposed school tax levy of 39.50 mills represents a 4.00 mill increase over the current tax rate.

Early voting will be conducted at the Ashley County Courthouse beginning Tuesday, May 14, 2019 to Friday, May 17, 2019, and Monday, May 20, 2019 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Election Day:  These precincts have been designated for voting in his election.  The polls will be open continuously on election day May 21, 2019, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the following locations:
