Mary Angelyn (Angie) Holland
Mary Angelyn (Angie) Holland of Pittsboro, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2016. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Angie is survived by her sister, Patsy Webb of Pittsboro, NC; her daughter and grandson in spirit and heart, Debbie and Alex McGeath of North Richland Hills, TX; her nephew, Kenneth Lyons of Kaufman, TX; her nephew, Dennis Webb of North Myrtle Beach, SC; her niece, Amanda Taylor of Pittsboro, NC. She is also survived by three great nieces and five great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Winnie Holland, of Crossett, AR; her sister Christine Lyons of Crossett, AR; her niece Kathy Lyons, niece Terry Brooks and nephew Tony Lyons.
Angie was born February 17, 1926 in Mer Rouge, LA and grew up in Crossett, AR. After high school, she worked for the Crossett Company until she moved to Dallas, TX to work for American Airlines. She worked there for 37 years before retiring at the age of 70. She moved to North Carolina in 2012 to live with her sister Patsy.
Angie was a 45 year breast cancer survivor and a supporter of the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She was a Christian and an active member of the church her entire life. Angie was known to have a ready smile and quick wit. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and her faith in God.
A graveside service was held 3:00PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Hanks Chapel Church in Pittsboro, NC. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Hazel Belle Youngblood Edwards
Hazel Belle Youngblood Edwards died April 26, 2016 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehab. She was born in Florence, to her late parents, Ernest Rascoe Youngblood and Allie Mize Youngblood. During WWll, she worked in an ammunition plant in Indiana later as a dental assistant in Crossett for Dr. Lane A Miller, DDS. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Crossett for over 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Edwards; five siblings, Mary Lorrayne Youngblood Mullis, James Fitzhugh Youngblood, Julia Nell Youngblood Strickland, Ernest Rascoe Youngblood Jr., Lester Adam Youngblood; and one grandson, Tanner Darbonne.
She is survived by four children, Richard A. Edwards (Ruth), Ernest H. Edwards (Dianne), Billy W. Edwards (Annette) and Kimle A. Edwards; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Friday, April 29 at 2 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to American Cancer Society or one’s favorite charity.
Mary Marguerite Smith
Mary Marguerite Smith, 94, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was a native and long-time resident of Hamburg but lived in Little Rock for the past eight years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Aubrey Smith Sr.; one granddaughter, Lyndsay Barnett Meyer; her parents, Thomas Zealy and Della Mae Chadwick Martin; one sister, Dorothy Jordan; and two brothers, Claudell Martin and Gerald Martin.
She is survived by one son, Bruce Smith and wife, Veda, of Little Rock; one daughter, Marsha Barnett and husband, Willard, of Edmond, Okla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29 in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Bobby Pennington officiating. A private burial was planned for Hamburg Cemetery.

Eric Adams, 49, of Hamburg, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was a native of Warren and a resident of Hamburg since 1981. He graduated from Hamburg High School in 1985. He was a truck driver for Timber Producers and a member of First Baptist Church.
H was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Adams; his grandparents, Walter and Connie Blankenship Adams and Tilman Jerome (Pop) and Hazel Polk Hargrave.
He is survived by one son, Jake Adams of Hamburg; his mother and step-father, Nancy Hargrave Gwin and Bobby Jo Gwin; and one sister, Kim Lauhon and husband, Ronnie.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1 at Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Burial was in Hamburg Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Foster, Darren Cason, Richard Weatherly, Jeff Pennington, Zach Bostick and Hunter Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were the members of Hamburg High School class of 1985.

Colleen Rayborn Robbins
Colleen Rayborn Robbins, 75, of Hamburg, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock. She was a native of Drew County and a resident of Hamburg for most of her life. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1959 and she worked at Hamburg Shirt Factory for 20 years. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church where she played the piano for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Robbins; one grandson, Joshua N. Wright and her parents, Walter and Viola Taylor Rayborn.
She is survived by one daughter, Debby Collier and husband, Billy; one sister, Barbara Jean Pennington, all of Hamburg; one step-sister, Bettye Mae Anderson of Morrilton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Charles Miller and Bro. Michael Griffith officiating. Burial was to be in Carlock Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Johnny Pierce, Boyd Kusterin, Earl Pollock, Greg Maxwell, Corey Collier and Drake Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Barnes, Tyman Allison, Joe Hennington and members of Hamburg High School Class of 1959.

Edward Elzie Barnett
Edward Elzie Barnett, age 63, of Crossett, died April 27, 2016. He was born Jan. 16, 1953 in Crossett. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 23 years and was a member of Pine Grove Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Norris Barnett.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary Gwendolyn Barnett of Crossett; two sons, Mark Barnett (Robin) of Crossett and Brent Barnett of Magnolia; two step-daughters, Stacy McDaniel (Kevin) of Mt. Pine and Valerie Mullins (Wade) of Kentucky; two step-sons, Kurt Little of Beekman, La., and Greg Little (Sheena) of Ft. Hill; his mother, Margaret Barnett; one brother, Keith Barnett (Clara); two sisters, Macky Dodson (Wayne) and Judy Cook (Larry), all of Crossett; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30 at Pine Grove Church of God on White Arkansas Rd with Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment followed in Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
