The Ashley County Bullseye Bandits shooting sports 4-H club were present and accounted for at the Arkansas state-wide senior 4-H Range Events at the C.E. Vines 4-H Center in Ferndale. The shotgun team representing Ashley County won first overall for the third year in a row. Ashley County received second, fourth and fifth place in individual shooter as well. Other youth participating were Hunter Childers, shotgun; Aaron Nelms, shotgun; and Hunter Greene, shotgun, 22 rifle, 22 pistol and air pistol.

Those at Ashley County Extension Office thanked the volunteer leaders for all their hard work and time in coaching these youth in safety and proper techniques saying the 4-H program would not be possible without outstanding leaders. A thanks was also offered to local sponsors and Friends of NRA for their helping in funding and supplies.

4-H is open to all youth between ages 9 and 19 in the county. For more information contact Ashley County Extension Office at 870-853-2080.
